An analysis is one message you paste in for pattern detection — you get back the patterns, the explanation, and a suggested reply. A draft is one message GreyRock writes for you from scratch when you describe what you need to say. Editing a suggested reply doesn’t count as a new draft. Re-analyzing the same message after editing it doesn’t count as a new analysis.

Your timeline, uploaded documents, and account stay readable for 30 days after cancellation. If you reactivate within that window, everything is exactly where you left it. After 30 days, your evidence record is permanently deleted from our active systems. Backups are purged within a further 30 days.

If you want your data deleted immediately on cancellation, there’s a one-click option for that on the cancellation screen.

Yes, in either direction, at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately and we prorate the difference for the remainder of your billing cycle. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current cycle — no early cancellation, no loss of access.

If you downgrade from Shield to Essentials, your existing evidence timeline stays viewable but goes read-only; you can still export it as a PDF, but new messages won’t be added until you upgrade again.

Yes. You can pause your subscription for up to three months at a time, twice per year. Your record is preserved through the pause. Many of our subscribers use this around school transitions, holiday handoffs, or quiet stretches between hearings.

Pause ≠ cancel. You won’t be charged during a pause, and you don’t lose your data the way you would after a 30-day cancellation window.

Yes. The 14-day trial converts to a paid plan on day 15 unless you cancel. We email you a clear reminder on day 12 — subject line “Your GreyRock trial ends in 2 days,” nothing dramatic, nothing that names what we do.

You can cancel from the account page in two clicks at any point during the trial. There’s no penalty, no “sorry to see you go” survey, no retention call.

The Free tier exists for this reason. Three lifetime message analyses and three lifetime drafts are real — not crippled, not lower-quality — and they’re yours to use whenever you most need them.

There is no hidden tier and no promo code. The price is the price, and we’d rather you used Free honestly than felt squeezed by us.

Yes. The other parent has no way to see that you’re using GreyRock. We don’t notify them, contact them, or appear in your shared communications. Nothing about the product is visible from a shared device unless you sign in.

Your messages and uploads are encrypted in transit and at rest, accessible only to your account. They never train a public model. Nothing leaves the platform unless you export it. Our full safety and privacy commitments live on the Safety page.

The Attorney tier is for licensed family law attorneys whose practice handles high-conflict cases. It includes everything in Shield, plus the ability to be linked, read-only, to up to 25 of your clients’ timelines, with a one-click PDF pull per client and a pattern-frequency dashboard across your caseload.

Linking is initiated by the client, not the attorney — we never expose a client’s record without their explicit invitation. Manual approval is required to keep this tier reserved for actual practitioners.
